T-Ball

Lucas started his first season of T-Ball at the beginning of this month. He was nervous to do it, but he's having a lot of fun. After his first game, he asked why it was so short. Good thing he likes it...the season runs until June!

Some McKay tidbits:

* He is determined to be a finger sucker. I am determined for him to prefer his pacifier.

* He is determined to prove to me that 20 minute naps are sufficient at 3 months old. I am determined to gently remind him that they most definitely are NOT.

* He has the best smile...until we pull out the camera.

* He gets a kick out of his older brothers.

* What did we do without him?!

Nightmares

Last night I was talking with the boys about what they can say in their personal prayers. Gabey mentioned asking for help to not have nightmares.

Yes, Gabey, that's right.

Fast forward to the middle of the night when I hear Gabey suddenly crying (this happens fairly often). I go in there and find him crying but not really awake. I stroke his head and tell him it's OK, thinking my poor boy probably had a nightmare.

He stops for a minute, eyes still closed, then says, "I wanted a cat!", and the crying resumes.

Funny. My nightmare would be if we DID have a cat.
