Clara's Blessing and Easter

On Saturday March 30, we were able to bless Clara. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this is an opportunity to bring a new baby before the Lord and, with the proper priesthood authority, give her a name and father's blessing.  We chose to celebrate this special event at home with my parents, Scott and Brooke and their family, and our  Bishop. It was an intimate, special experience to share.
Clara wore a dress that was first worn by my little sister 25 years ago, and she became the 4th granddaughter to wear it.
Of course, as it was Easter weekend,we also celebrated with the traditional coloring of eggs and Easter baskets!

Clara was so happy to have her first Easter!

We were grateful to celebrate the Atonement and Resurrection of our Savior!  I was grateful to attend church (for Sacrament Meeting) for only the 2nd time since Clara's birth to enjoy the Easter program, including watching my children sing with the primary.
